We focus on intentional sourcing, culturally, inspired recipes, and creating meaningful moments around coffee. We’re not just serving drinks— we’re cultivating connection, representation, and experience in every space we enter.

Meet the People Behind Summum Bonum

Summum Bonum was built by two people who’ve had a deep connection to coffee since early on in life. What started as a daily ritual grew into a passion.

Jason, originally from Brooklyn, and Marifer, an Austinite, came together through a shared love for culture, community, and coffee. From learning the science behind specialty coffee at Texas Coffee School in Dallas to serving drinks at local markets and private events, every step has been intentional.

For us, coffee is more than just a drink — it’s a way to bring people together, share stories, and create moments that feel real. Summum Bonum is a reflection of that journey, and we’re just getting started.
